For the last 4 years Gold Wingnut Productions has been producing updates videos on YouTube giving residents a bird’s eye view and keeping them up to date on the construction happening in The Villages. On October 14th at the Evans Prairie Country Club, and on YouTube, the 100th Update Video will be released, during this event we will be raising money to benefit the National Brain Tumor Society and the American Cancer Society. Sponsors and Benefactors for this event are being sought from the local business community. The event is open to the public and free of charge.
Gold Wingnut Productions typically produces two construction update videos each month with typical view counts of 12,000-18,000 each, some videos have received over 40,000 views. GWP has approximately 14,000 YouTube subscribers and nearly 1.5 million total views. While not large by global YouTube standards it represents a substantial market penetration in the very select market of The Village community.
Sponsors are needed to help offset the cost of the event. Costs include appetizers and a well/soft drink to be provided for the first 100 guests, wait staff gratuity, and additional supplies for the event are anticipated to be approximately $2000. Sponsors are requested to make a minimum $200 contribution towards offsetting these costs. Sponsorship contributions collected in excess of the event costs will be donated to the ACS and NBTS charities.
Benefactors contribute items to be raffled off for the purposes of fund raising. Recommended items would be specific to your business that would encourage patronage by the winners or items identifiable as being from the business (e.g. Gold Wingnut Productions is donating a drone package with flying lessons). Signage (8x10), placard, business cards, or other small advertisement for display/distribution next to the item. Items will be raffled off in a table raffle format with one or more items associated with the bucket for participant tickets, participants will deposit one or many tickets into the buckets of the desired prizes. Participants may purchase as many tickets as they desire. Winners will be drawn after the 100th video presentation. Participants must be present to win. Current contributions include: a drone package, $100 restaurant gift cards, 2 NFL Football tickets, golf cart towing service for a year, ladies golf bag, artwork, and MyPillow mattress toppers.
Benefactors – advertisement space on the table next to their contribution, company name and logo on border/lower ¼ of event banner. Acknowledgements in the video – verbal, scrolling marquee at bottom of screen, opening and ending credits.
Sponsors – table space at the event to present your product/service if desired, 6” company logo and name below event title on banner. Recognition during event. Acknowledgements during the video – Sponsorship credit with name and logo after video title screen, verbal, pop-up name/url and logo during video (3x), 2nd billing in opening and ending credits.
Sponsor-Benefactor – Table space at the event to present your product/service, “Sponsored by” with 10” company logo and name above event title on banner. Acknowledgements during video – Opening screen sponsorship with company name/url and logo before the video title screen, verbal sponsorship acknowledgement, pop-up name/url and logo during video (3x), 1st billing in opening and ending credits.

Sponsorship-Benefactor Agreement must be received no later than 6 PM Friday October 8th.
All sponsorship and benefactor contributions will be picked up no later than 6 PM Saturday October 9th.

The Contribution Recognition described shall be the only compensation due a Sponsor or Benefactor. All monies raised shall be contributed to the afore mentioned charities.
Sponsors understand and agree that sponsorship contributions will be utilized to cover the event costs and that any amount received in excess of these costs shall be contributed to the afore mentioned charities.
Benefactor’s donations shall be raffled off to raise money for the afore mentions charities, any donations not raffled off will be, at the Benefactor’s direction, returned to the Benefactor or donated to an appropriate local charity.
Sponsors and Benefactors desiring to have their company logos included on the event banner and other event advertising must provide the logo artwork no later than 6 PM Friday October 8th, 2021 in electronic format to don@goldwingnut.com. Minimum acceptable graphic size is 1000x1000 pixels, .PNG file format is preferred.
